Eight days of adventure in and around the Erg Chebbi: departure from Ouarzazate, the Valley of Roses, walks with camel herders and nights camped deep in the dunes.

Day-by-day itinerary
On arrival at Ouarzazate Airport, you are warmly welcomed by your guide. Transfer to your hotel and check-in.
Depending on your arrival time, you may freely explore the city known as the “Gateway to the Desert”.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, depart for the beautiful Valley of Roses, renowned for its lush landscapes and traditional kasbahs. Pass through authentic villages such as Tinghir and Tinejdad.
After Erfoud, meet your camel-herding team at Ras El Goudroun. A short walk of about one hour brings you to the first bivouac among the small dunes of Darkaoua.

An early start for a gradual immersion in desert landscapes. Cross an arid plateau to the Tissardmine Oasis for a lunch in the open air.
In the afternoon, enter the first dunes of the Erg Chebbi and set up camp deep among them.

Continue hiking across golden dunes to Bou Irad. In the evening, climb the dunes for a panoramic desert sunset.

A full day immersed in the great dunes, through a wild and preserved landscape. Arrive at the Tannamouste bivouac, isolated amid the sands.
Walking: ≈ 6 h · Dinner and overnight in bivouac.
Head towards Jbel Bayaa, cross the abandoned village of Tamrdanite, then descend to Erg Zenigui for the night’s camp.

A short walk to the vehicles, then drive towards the Drâa Valley via Tazarine. A succession of oases and villages leads to Agdez. Return to Ouarzazate in the late afternoon. Depending on the route, a passage via the Dadès Gorges and the Valley of Roses is possible.
