Day 1: Casablanca Airport – Half Day Tour Casablanca – Rabat Tour

Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by an expert, English-speaking driver who will provide assistance throughout your trip. Your first activity will be a half-day city tour of Casablanca. The tour will cover the main tourist attractions of both the modern town and the medina.

The tour includes a visit to Mohammed V Square, which was designed by architect Joseph Marrast, as well as the Central Market, the Habous District, and the Jewish quarter in Casablanca’s Place Verdun. You will also visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco and the seventh largest in the world, with a minaret that stands at 210 meters tall.

After the Casablanca tour, you will drive to Rabat. Your tour of Rabat will begin with a visit to the fortified Kasbah Oudaya, which includes a 17th-century royal residence and an Andalusian-style garden. Next, you will visit the Mohamed V Mausoleum, a masterpiece of Moroccan art and craft, located next to the medieval Hassan Tower, which was built in the late 12th century.

After finishing the tour, your driver will take you to your hotel for an overnight.

Day 2: Rabat- Meknes – Voulubilis -Fez

After enjoying breakfast at your accommodation in Rabat, you will head to Volubilis (also known as Walili) to explore the extensive Roman ruins and the remains of Roman houses. Your tour guide will provide you with clear and informative details about the history of Volubilis.

After the visit to Volubilis, you will proceed to Meknes for a leisurely lunch break and then continue to explore the various sights of the city. You will have the opportunity to walk inside the Architectural Mausoleum Molay Ismail and take memorable photos of the huge Bab Mansour. You can also explore other fascinating monuments like the Grand Mosque, Museum Dar Jamai and Dar El-Makhzen while enjoying your exploration of the city.

Your tour will come to its end and it is time to drive toward your accommodation in Fez for an overnight.

Day 3: Full Day Historical Tour of Fez

Fez is a 13th-century imperial city with a long and multicultural history, which offers unexpected surprises to its visitors. You will have a full day to explore this magnificent city, which is one of the best examples of a living medieval Arab city and the religious capital of Morocco.

During the tour, you will visit the Karaouine Mosque and Medersa and also experience the hustle and bustle of everyday life in the labyrinth of souks and tanneries.

The tour includes photo stops at the impressive Bab Boujloud gate, the ancient ramparts, the splendid fountain at Place Nejjarine, and the beautiful front entrance to the Royal Palace.

After enjoying a leisurely lunch, you will continue your visit to Fez’s Jewish Mellah and Rabbi Shlomo Ibn Danan Synagogue, as well as the Jewish Cemetery and Tomb of Solica.

By the end of the tour, you will head back to your accomodation.

Day 4: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou- Errachidia - Erfoud

You will depart from Fez and pass through the winter ski resort of Ifrane, which was built by the French in the 1930s to resemble a Swiss village. After that, you will travel through the cedar forest of Azrou, where you can spot the resident monkeys, before driving across the Middle Atlas Mountains.

You will wind your way through the beautiful forests, mountain springs, jagged rocks, and Berber villages before beginning your descent to the Sahara Desert.

You will stop for lunch and then continue towards Erfoud, taking in the panoramic views of the huge oasis of palm trees in Ziz Valley. Along the way, you will also have the opportunity to stop for a panoramic view of the oasis of Aoufous in the Tafilalte region, as well as in Errachidia.

Erfoud is a city located in southeast Morocco, and although many ancient fortified villages have existed in the region for several centuries, Erfoud was built up by French troops after the victory of the Tafilalet Battle, which took place between 1916 and 1932.

Day 5: Erfoud- Rissani - Merzouga

Afterwards, you will spend an unforgettable night under the starry sky of the Sahara, surrounded by the peacefulness of the desert. You will enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and music around the campfire, followed by stargazing and a good night’s sleep in a comfortable tent.

In the morning, wake up early to witness the stunning sunrise over the dunes before enjoying breakfast at the campsite. Then, you will ride your camels back to Merzouga where you will meet your driver and drive to the nearby village of Khamlia, known for its Gnawa music and culture.

After visiting Khamlia, continue your journey to the impressive Todra Gorge, a deep and narrow canyon located in the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountains. You will have some free time to explore the area and take in the breathtaking views of the red rocks and the river.

Finally, you will drive to the Dades Valley, famous for its scenic beauty and unique rock formations. You will have dinner and spend the night at a charming hotel in the valley, surrounded by stunning landscapes and the peacefulness of nature.

Day 6: Merzouga –Tinghir - Todra Gorges – Ouarzazate

The towering canyon walls of Todgha Gorge offer a unique and impressive view, as you walk through the narrow valley of the river. This is a great opportunity to appreciate the natural beauty of the area and take some memorable photos.

After visiting the gorge, we will continue our journey towards Ouarzazate, where you will visit the Kasbah of Taourirt, a fortified village that was once an important stop for caravans traveling along the ancient trade routes. The kasbah was built in the 19th century and is a fine example of the traditional Moroccan architecture.

We will also visit the nearby film studios of Ouarzazate, which have been used as a filming location for many famous movies, including Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

After this long day, we will return to your accommodation for dinner and a well-deserved rest.

From there you depart to Ouarzazate for overnight.

Day 7: Ouarzazate – Marrakesh

Following breakfast, you’ll embark on a drive across a breathtaking barren plateau that hosts some movie sets and studios where several well-known movies were filmed.

You’ll make a stop at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-protected village that has attracted numerous film producers who chose it as the backdrop for movies such as Kingdom of Heaven, Gladiator, and Babel.

After an optional lunch, you’ll proceed to Marrakesh through what is arguably the most striking scenic road in Morocco.

This route, constructed by the French foreign legion almost 100 years ago, winds through the picturesque Tizi N’Tichka pass and then descends onto the Marrakesh plains.

Day 8: Marrakesh Full Day Tour

The city of Marrakesh is a dynamic and diverse destination that reflects a rich history and multicultural heritage.

Begin your tour by exploring the iconic 12th century Koutoubia Minaret, an impressive landmark of the city featuring intricate stonework and surrounding gardens.

Next, journey through various districts, including the Royal quarters fortress and its grand gates, bustling local markets, and the Mellah, the historic Jewish quarter.

Visit the neighboring Bahia Palace, a collection of traditional riads with stunning gardens and geometric patterns. Finally, make your way to the Kasbah street to witness the stunning Saadian tombs.

After your lunch at leisure, special dish to be discovered on the spot.

Indulge yourself into the Medina to see traditional souks, bakeries, and lodging houses, and uncover
Marrakesh’s history and culture on the route.

Day 9: Marrakesh –Essaouira – Marrakesh

On this day, we will embark on a day trip to Essaouira, a charming old Portuguese city that has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Morocco since 2001. The journey will begin with a couple of hours of driving and a visit to an Argan Oil factory along the way.

Upon arrival in Essaouira, we will explore the city and its souk, which is located inside the Medina. We will also take a tour of the ramparts of the Kasbah and Scala, as well as visit the Bet Ha-Knesset Simon Attias Synagogue, Rabbi Haim Pinto’s former home, and the synagogue in the Jewish Mellah.

Take the opportunity to buy ingredients for your lunch from the local markets and drop them off at a nearby coffee shop where you can prepare your meal.

The streets of Essaouira are filled with a variety of stores selling beautifully handcrafted items, including Thuya wood products, clothes, and carpets.

After having your lunch have a free time to enjoy the city , return back to Marrakesh.

Day 10: Marrakech – Day at leisure - Shopping tour

Embark on a half day shopping tour of Marrakesh and discover all that this welcoming city has to offer.
